stripes361 1 The Sooners had their first shaky performance of the season against Baylor. Keeping them at #1 for now on the basis of their strong previous performances but their defense needs to show improvement during the heart of conference play to stay there.

Nathanael-Greene 2 Baylor played a strong game against the Sooners, but Oklahoma played well enough that I think they deserve to stay at #2 in my poll.
nickknx865 2 Gonna have to spank you? Baker Mayfield wha...anyways. This game should not have been this close. Period. However, I think OU looks solid and I agree with my precious computers that they're probably the #2 team. Probably. The only other teams you could make an argument for are Clemson and Washington, I think, and while I was tempted to pick the Tigers here, I don't want to overreact to one game, and OU has looked very good aside from this game.

blahblehblahwhoru 3 Close game against Baylor. Didn't watch this one, just basing it off of stats. They stay in the top 5 because of inertia from tOSU win.

Bukowskified 3 Baylor played much better than anyone expected, but barely beating a winless team causes Oklahoma to drop a spot.

fadingthought 3 I warned a lot of my friends that the Baylor team showing up in Waco would not be the one we had seen to this point in the season. They were returning multiple talented players and it showed. With OU going into a bye week it will be interesting to see how they rebound.

Ghost_of_Dude 3 Baylor played them close but after Oklahoma State dropped to TCU, Oklahoma looks to be the clear frontrunner for the Big XII. However, they have to face both Oklahoma State and TCU in back to back weeks, which will be a brutal slate to run. For now, they're comfortably #3

T-Thugs 4 Their win over Ohio State will hold a lot of weight all year. The rest of their schedule so far really isn't worth mentioning, though. Struggled a little bit with Baylor this weekend. I still have them very high, though.

BunnySelfDestruct 5 They struggled against Baylor... sure Baylor played their best game of the year, but you can't struggle against Baylor right now. Bedlam means a lot less now that TCU's shown what they're capable of.

WhiteBaseCoat 5 PLRCOAT: 8.152. Back to teams with 4 FBS wins, Oklahoma actually has two 0-point wins in UTEP and Baylor, and Tulane's score is only 1.75; however, their thumping of 6.555 Ohio State (#8) is easily the best win of the season so far (again, at least in the PLRCOAT's eyes). Combine that with 3 other wins of any quality and you'll get a pretty high ranking.

hokies220 6 I still really like the win @ Ohio State. But the struggle to finish off Baylor isn't a great look.
kdbvols 6
Khavanon 6 (-3) 49-41 road win over winless Baylor. The sports gods required sacrifices from the state of Oklahoma for the Paul George and Carmelo Anthony trades, but Oklahoma managed to resist. State, however...

wazoheat 6 <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->You're allotted one in-conference shit-show on the road per year. I'm not putting too much weight into this game, but more games like this and I'll drop them.

Knightro2011 14 This is where I am going to get some crap because Ohio State lost to Oklahoma. The Sooners are dominating yards per play and their offense overall. Their schedule though has been awful outside of Ohio State. Minus them, their combined opponents record is 2-10.
