Oklahoma haven't had many convincing wins, but they are still getting them with only one loss being a 26th ranked Iowa State and a win over a 6th ranked Ohio State. That being said, with their weak conference schedule so far they are going to need to get a bigger win this weekend to stay ahead of some tough competition closing in from behind.

soonerfreak	8	The defense has looked shakey but the offense is still getting it done. The last time 31 points wasn't good enough to beat Iowa State was Iowa State's last win in 1990. If Mike Stoops can pull his head out of his ass this team has the ability to compete against anyone. But as long as the defense can't figure it out it is a weakness that can cost OU.

T-Thugs	8	Sooners have a loss to Iowa State which isn't great, but they also have a huge win over Ohio State. If the buckeyes beat Penn State this week, that would definitely help Oklahoma. A loss would take away a little from their resume. They have a big matchup against Oklahoma State in a couple weeks that could help bump them up again. Their loss to Iowa state is also looking better and better. I've got Iowa State ranked now.├é┬á

GilBrandt	18	Another close win. I've come to expect this type of close game since the Baylor game. This is the main reason I keep OU down in my rankings. Very tough schedule coming up and one of these teams will trip the Sooners up like Iowa State did. Good luck vs Tech, OSU, TCU, and WVU.
