crimsonlaw 2 I never trust a Big 12 defense, but Oklahoma looked dang good against Houston. Jalen Hurts look amazing in his Sooner debut, and I don't doubt Lincoln Riley's ability to keep the magic going. This team looked like a lock for the playoffs this week. We will see how the season unfolds.

nejaahalcyon 3 No change here either. Offense looked fantastic, but there are still some questions about their defense. I think they can score enough to take on most other teams, but they need to get their defense improved over the season if they want to win the post season. I think the biggest issue is depth on defense, unfortunately that means improvements might not come until next season.

iliketoupvotepuns 4 It looks like Lincoln Riley has done it again with Jalen Hurts. While we will find out, they are the clear favorites in their conference(again).

soonersthebetter 4 The Crimson & Cream Offensive Machine has a new conductor, but keeps rolling. The defense looked better, but was still sloppy at times. I think Houston has a chance to win the AAC, so I am chalking this up as a decent win for now, and enough to keep OU at #4.

crownebeach 6 Oklahoma didn't look this good last year until about Week 8. Key stat: 13.8 yards per pass. Not per completion, per *attempt.*

hypercube42342 6 I'm not entirely sold on this team being as good as previous years yet. I didn't see much in Houston that made me think they were a good team, and while OU did dominate the game, they didn't wow me entirely. I don't see a serious test for this team until Texas, so we'll see then how good this team truly is then. That being said, them dropping in my rankings was not a function of them being bad, so much as LSU being good. There is a large gap between 6 and 7 here.

steelcitygator 6 Jalen Hurts looked like a bonafide Oklahoma quarterback and the defense played pretty decently.  Houston might not be their best opponent but they are certainly a respectable G5 team.
T-nawtical 6
tabelz 6
Trogdor42069 6
Zloggt 6 Offense's always good, but consistently having shootouts against other teams (like with Houston) makes me doubt the defensive capabilities of the team (i.e it tells me that defense is your weak point).
