steelcitygator 8 I think Miami is gunna be a pretty decent team and overall Florida looked like it was playing a their first game.  That said they still won and against one of the better teams (like better teams matched up) that you can expect from week 1.

hypercube42342 9 Miami is a good team to pick up a win against, but they looked terrible in doing it. They fell one spot in my rankings this week, and I'm not sure I expect them to be so highly ranked at the end of the season.
iliketoupvotepuns 9 Florida looked a bit rusty, but avoided an upset from their rival. Franks had a decent day throwing the ball, and Florida was uncharacteristically bad running the ball. I expect Mullen to find a way to run the ball through his scheme, and if franks can stay at least decent they will do fine.

peachios 9 Not sure if I would say their first week was strong, the QB play is worrisome, the defnese seemed great though

crimsonlaw 11 Okay, yes Florida won, but nothing about the win was impressive. Florida still needs a QB. Franks is a child inside a man's body and his immaturity will be a liability this season. I have soured very quickly on the Gators and would not be shocked if they dropped three games this year after seeing them against Miami.

Jakesnake42 12 Florida drops after a very sloppy game against Miami which neither team looked like they wanted to win.

chrisb19 15 Florida looked bad against Miami but I think a lot of people undervalue the Hurricanes right now. If Franks can become a more efficient QB then Florida should be able to be competitive. They're the only real team with a shot at the SEC East besides UGA.

PHubbs 16 I moved Florida around the most while making these rankings because they looked like a sloppy-good team in week 0. Miami will be better than people realize, but Florida definitely played an ugly game without all the improvement we expected in certain areas after another year under Mullen. The individual play-makers and coaching talent there lends towards this being a top 15 team that should finish 2nd in the SEC East once they have more time.

Charlemagne42 18 Yikes. Franks got worse, not better. Florida's typically stout defense should have registered 3 TFL per drive, considering Miami's OL. (-1)

nbingham196 19 (-5) Didn't look great against Miami. I don't know if it was just because it is week 0 or what. Looks like they could still easily go 8-4 with how bad every other team on their schedule played. Might also pull out a win over LSU or Auburn
soonersthebetter 19 Ugly win over Miami. I'm not sure Miami is any good.. and I'm not sure Florida is either now. I know it was a rivalry game against a P5 team, but this should have been an easy win for Florida.
