I'm choosing to read last week's game as "Florida is good, but Kentucky is better", as opposed to "Utah was a fluke". We'll see if I read it right in the coming weeks.

Kept them at #17 from last week despite loss to Kentucky because they stay ahead of Utah from the H2H win.

Kentucky might just be that good, but Richardson really needs to be able to attack through the air.

Down 1 - not a bad loss to pair with Utah looking good

As some expected, Florida got a bit too much hype from its Week 1 win against Utah. Kentucky brought them back down to earth, but the pendulum shouldn't swing too far the other way. The Wildcats have legit top-10 potential and the Gators are surely happy to be sitting at 1-1 given how tough a start to their schedule they've had. (Week 2: Kentucky 26, Florida 16; Record: 1-1)

Florida's ranking so far this season has been a rollercoaster. Upsetting Utah, only to lose to Kentucky... At home. Of course, Kentucky is no slouch, and neither is Florida, it's just a bit erratic, and hopefully we can see it stabilize a bit. To give Florida some credit, if it wasn't for a horrid pick-6 in the late 3rd quarter while the game was neck-and-neck at 16-16, they potentially could've won, - however, if's and but's are pointless, they got outplayed by Kentucky on their home turf. Still, I think Florida has done enough with their week 1 win to remain ranked, but the real test comes in two weeks when they travel to face the Volunteers.

Tough loss but this team can still make a lot of noise. Anthony Richardson may... not be elite?

Maybe deserve to fall further down but as long as they got the head to head with Utah I won’t move them below them

Continuing the run of teams to "move up despite losing" last week. I personally had Florida #25 (couldn't believe they were as high as #12), but they played very well against Kentucky and had a shot late in the game to potentially win it. A few mistakes to sure up, but so far a bright start to the season for the Gators.

They still beat utah, I think they will still be good, but theyre toeing the line.
