hokies220 Ballot for 2017 Week 9

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 22, 2017, 10:30 a.m.

Overall Rationale: Top four are who I'd put in right now.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide duh
TCU Horned Frogs OK State + WVU > Michigan
Penn State Nittany Lions duh
Clemson Tigers Better strength of schedule than any other ACC/Pac-12 team
Georgia Bulldogs Just outside, I think the argument could be made they have a better strength of schedule, but I think Bama is just a better team
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Solid wins over Michigan State and USC and a close loss.
UCF Knights Maybe too high, but I've bought in.
Miami Hurricanes They keep finding ways to win. Slight SOS edge here
Wisconsin Badgers Also just grind out win after win
Oklahoma Sooners Haven't looked great, but still ahead of OSU because of head to head
Ohio State Buckeyes Dominating bad teams, big test now.
USF Bulls Lackluster second half, but undefeated and still a solid undefeated team.
NC State Wolfpack Bye week now ND
Virginia Tech Hokies Looked good but it was against UNC.
Oklahoma State Cowboys I don't trust this team for some reason
Washington State Cougars Defense played really well. Too bad they didn't last week.
Michigan State Spartans Meh.
Stanford Cardinal Meh.
Washington Huskies Meh.
Iowa State Cyclones Get some, Cyclones. The two losses don't look good, but this ISU team feels like it could maybe upset TCU.
Memphis Tigers Good comeback. Solid team.
USC Trojans Probably should've fallen out entirely.
West Virginia Mountaineers The win against TTU took a hit and they nearly let Baylor comeback. Two good losses though? IDK I just feel like they're better than they're playing.
LSU Tigers Used a random number generator to decide between them, Auburn, and Miss State ended up with LSU.
Arizona Wildcats If Khalil Tate had started the season the Wildcats would likely be 7-0 and in the top 10. If you haven't watched him play then you need to rectify that immediately.
