bretticus733 11 With their near-miraculous comeback over USC to win the Cotton Bowl, Tulane completed the best turnaround in FBS history. The Green Wave went from 2-10 in 2021 to 12-2 with an AAC title and Cotton Bowl victory in 2022. The big question will be if Tulane can continue their roll into 2023 or if it's just a fluky miraculous run in 2022. Star RB Tyjae Sharps went pro, but the AAC will also have a lot of turnover in the next year with UCF, Cincinnati, and Houston all leaving but several programs, including UTSA and UAB, joining the ranks.

ColombianInIowa24 4 Huh? An American team again at #4? They weren't even in the playoff! Yes my dear friend, but they ended up with the more impressive wins, while Ohio State has impressive losses. Surprising even to me that the model preferred them but I agree with the quality of their wins and redemption against UCF making them a 1-loss school in the eyes of the model, inexplicably as ever to Southern Miss and wins against the second best teams of two different and deep P5 conferences in addition to playing another game by being a conference champ.

Notable wins: #9 USC, #14 Kansas State (Big XII champ). American Athletic Conference champ.
