bretticus733 2 The Wolverines proved last season wasn’t a fluke with a second straight Big 10 title, but they also lost in the CFP semis for a second straight season in an upset loss to TCU. Their defense gave up a lot of big plays and the offense played a very sloppy game, including 2 pick sixes by JJ McCarthy. The big thing to watch for Michigan heading into 2023 will be if they can do it a 3rd time, if Harbaugh can finally win a big bowl game, or if Harbaugh is even still coaching Michigan or if he heads to the NFL.

IceColdDrPepper_Here 4 55: Would Michigan have matched up better against Georgia than TCU? Who knows, probably. But looking at that game I don't think anyone was matching Georgia in the natty. An undefeated regular season, first victory over OSU in the Shoe in over a decade, back-to-back B1G titles and playoff appearances is nothing to be ashamed of though.

dusklord1 3 With or without Harbaugh (but probably with), Michigan will be very dangerous next year and should be 11-1 at worst (OSU and @PSU are not easy outs). I expect them to return to the playoffs, however, they will likely face one of Alabama or Georgia in the first round. I'm not convinced that Harbaugh can out-scheme Kirby or Saban. They are unlikely to get a draw as "easy" as TCU again, especially if there are 2 SEC teams. Until proven otherwise, their ceiling is the semifinals. This was Harbaugh's best opportunity to reach the title game in the 4 team format and they laid an egg against TCU.
