ikindalikelemons 2 This may be the best team top-to-bottom Harbaugh's had so far, and with his recruiting record the past couple years, it'll be his best shot for awhile too. They won't be tested for awhile (same with Georgia), so if they drop without losing, it's only because other teams have compiled big wins in the meantime.

kamiller2020 2 While Michigan isn't personally my pick to win the Big 10, as of right now this is the most complete roster outside of Athens. J.J. hasn't shown anything to be seen as a top NFL draft pick, but as a college QB, he's been very solid and looks to elevate himself into the next tier of QBs this season. They have the best running back duo in the country with Donovan Edwards and Blake Corum which will take the heat off the wide receivers until that unit gets up to speed. Two starters return on the offensive line from last year's Joe Moore award-winning unit, and the players they got from the transfer portal should have them competing for the best line once again. Defensively they're elite in the front 7 and they'll be one of the toughest teams in CFB to run the ball against. Three safeties return as does the star corner Will Johnson, but depth at CB is a major concern and will need to improve if they want to win a national title. Michigan's regular season is defined by 2 games, go 1-1 and there's a solid shot at a third straight playoff appearance.

bretticus33 3 Jim Harbaugh has Michigan near the top of the FBS world and there’s no reason to think it’ll be different in 2023. 15 starters returning means Michigan will again be the favorite to win the Big 10 but the goal isn’t just to win the Big 10 but actually play a title game. That only happens if JJ McCarthy steps up to be more of an offensive leader. He was good last season, but good won’t be enough. Regardless, look for Michigan to be one of the nation’s best teams again.

ScaratheBear 2 Michigan won 13 games last year and proceeded to lose practically nobody off of an extremely talented roster. JJ McCarthy is back. Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards spearhead arguably the best RB group in the country. 4 starters from last years Joe Moore winning OL return. The defense is absolutely loaded with experienced vets. Better yet, the schedule, like Georgia's, is charmin soft. Jim Harbaugh might be suspended 3 games, but the schedule doesn't really begin until a visit to Happy Valley on November 11th.

FourteenClocks 3 Their loss to TCU was probably the biggest, most consequential upset of last year. Much like UGA, their last two years of actually winning the right games has correctly placed them as a powerhouse, and proof that the alumnus-as-coach can bring a fanbase together (...minus two or three weeks of NFL courtship per year) AND win. These guys have all the tools to keep it up. Forget Georgia three-peating, the fightin' Harbaughs pulling a three-peat on that team down south would be the real stunner.

TinderForMidgets 3 Michigan again looks to win it all despite coming so close so often. There's a lot of uncertainty with the suspension of Jim Harbaugh. However, it is against much less talented teams such as East Carolina, UNLV, and Bowling Green. I'm sure they can weather the storm.

JetoGrov 5 There are weird vibes now, right? All that returning production, the Harbaugh machine rolling, a QB primed to make the leap, a schedule that makes UGA's look like a gauntlet (seriously, Michigan's schedule is comedy on a level I've never seen before, how do they not go 11-1?)...but, the vibes are weird at the moment. I still think Michigan goes 11-1, with the 1 loss being to Penn St...they barely miss the B10 title game, and no one above them loses to open a spot in the playoffs (plus I really want the poetry of this wack-ass schedule biting Michigan in the ass when it comes down to selection time...AINT PLAYED NOBOBY)
