bretticus33	18	KSU has some big shoes to fill with Deuce Vaughn in the NFL now. He was a huge part of the offense, but DJ Giddens is capable of an expanded role in the offense. Will Howard and most of the OL returning provides much needed experience. Defensively I have some questions. A lot of key players left and there’s a lot of new starters filling in. They’ll be tested in an explosive Big 12.

ScaratheBear	14	Lost in the hubbub surrounding Texas as well as a crushing loss to Alabama last year in the Sugar Bowl, K State quietly looks very capable of repeating as Big 12 Champs. Will Howard is one of, maybe the best QB in the Big 12. They return an excellent offensive line, and brought in All-ACC RB Treshaun Ward to replace "small but mighty" Deuce Vaughn. The defense will need to find replacements, and HC Chris Klieman will need to lead the team through a tough draw in the new Big 12, but K-State is well primed to compete amongst the best in the conference and maybe Nationally.

K-State, OU's slenderman, maintains a folksy charm as the conference's cool team, and getting a piece of TCU before their CFP appearance left no doubt that they will always be a big player once 12 becomes... 16, is that the current count?

throwaway_6786	16	It was a great Big 12 championship win, but Alabama had their way with them in the Sugar Bowl, so I had K-State at #13 to finish last year. Losing Deuce Vaughn will hurt, but Will Howard appears to be a solid QB and their defense is supposedly better than last year, which bodes well for the Wildcats. K-State slipped a few spots due to inconsistency across the last 10 years or so, but they're still the reigning Big 12 champs, so they'll stick at #16 to start.
