xX_GIGA_MAN_Xx	8	Weirdly enough, I have always looked forwards to watching the Lone Star Showdown for the last 2 years, but I keep missing it for weird reasons (fell asleep after going 24+ hours without sleep, was at another game at the same time). Maybe this is the year.
Zloggt	8	In an alternate universe, the Zloggt family moves to the Houston area when I was just a wee lad (or technically a middle-schooler, but still around the time I begin getting into CFB), and then that guy who keeps doing all those Whose Line threads is instead an Aggie + Sam Houston/Coogs/Texas Southern guy. I'm not sure if I would be THAT different over there, but it's fun to imagine.

Worth noting the committee was, for once, consistent in applying head to head, since Alabama beat them fair and square. Still finished ahead of 10-2 Texas Tech though, so at least you can laugh at someone else, too.

lowes18	16	My opinion of Texas A&M is torn between my absolute faith in Elko as a head coach and my absolute distrust of Marcel Reed as a passer. I don't believe A&M brought in enough talent to make up for their losses in the 2026 draft, as such they will likely take a significant step backwards from their 11-1 record in 2025.

But early season games are all manageable or easy and will give a chance for them to gel and Elko and co to make adjustments if Reed keeps in mind that he’s dual threat not just a pocket guy. LSU is the first real test if they haven’t collapsed early which I’m all too aware is always a threat for the Ags. Arkansas is always close unfortunately, and Alabama, Mizzou, OU, texas, an unknown Tennessee, and a South Carolina trying to reestablish itself is a rough schedule.
