nickknx865 14 Moving teams up after a loss is one of those polling methods that you either think is sound or dumb as hell. Personally, I think it shows the quality of a side if they can hang in there with a team as good as Clemson. Because of that, I feel no conflict about moving them up into this slot, even if it is setting up a classic overhyping of an Aggie team.

dicky_________seamus 15 I didn't move A&M after the loss. Kellen Mond is a gamer and A&M has a chance to be great.
stripes361 15 Yes, Texas A&M gets to jump Oklahoma State (despite losing) because the Aggies' actual performance outperformed their expected performance.

GilBrandt 19 Happily surprised by my Aggies. The Sumlin/Mazzone Aggies would have been blown out at home, but not this time. The team came so close to a big upset! A&M played like a top 25 team ~~Quality Loss~~

JeromesNiece 21 I ranked them 24th last week, and they certainly played well enough against Clemson to at least keep that rank

PHubbs 23 It's already becoming clear that those great recruiting classes deserved a great coach to get A&M over the hump. People picked the wrong Texas school to be back. They will likely start the season 2-2, but if they compete against Clemson and Alabama, they can come out of that .500 record looking like a top 20 team.

TheFlyingBoat 23 They held in well against Clemson. While they did benefit from no holding calls against them for like 58 minutes of game time despite holding every other play, they also got shafted at the end by a terrible rule. Jimbo seems to have a good thing going in his first year.

Feral_Squirrel 25 I'm not sure the last time I bumped a team in a loss, but damn. The Aggies are looking good after that bout with Clemson.

jmac_21 25 I really hate ranking a team for "a good loss" it's the most SEC West thing ever, but I don't know who else to put here and A&M is legit. They'll win a lot of games this year if they play the way they did Saturday.

woakley 25 I know that Texas A&M lost this week to Clemson. But they sure looked the part in the second half, and they were a fluke fumble through the endzone away from this being a very different result. They deserve being ranked even with a 1-1 record.
