A-Stu-Ute Ballot for 2018 Week 3

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 10, 2018, 1:52 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide Still terrifying.
Georgia Bulldogs Great win for them against a good Gamecocks team. I figured they would win but it was a better-than-expected performance against a potential trap opponent.
Oklahoma Sooners Also still terrifying after routing UCLA, but with Rodney Anderson being lost for the season and Marquise Brown potentially hurt all of a sudden things are more in flux.
Clemson Tigers No change for now since Texas A&M looked pretty good in their quality loss, but letting the Aggies come back put them in a little bit of peril of falling out of the top 4.
Ohio State Buckeyes They've beaten two cupcakes handily, now here comes the test. Beat TCU on a field in Texas amid all the controversy and it probably puts them in the top 4 if not top 3.
Auburn Tigers Not much to say, they handled business as expected. We'll know a lot more after they face LSU.
Wisconsin Badgers How about Jonathan Taylor? Wish I had him in fantasy. They're starting to look very well put together after 2 games in.
Stanford Cardinal I'm conflicted here. On the one hand Stanford won against USC, but it wasn't all that pretty or telling of a win. USC has looked very vulnerable the last 2 games and I dropped them out of my top 25 altogether. Bryce Love did look somewhat like himself again, but his Heisman campaign is off to a rocky start. On the other hand holding USC to 3 points was impressive, and defeating a conference foe in week 2 is pretty darn good. So... for now they're here, but I'm not expecting them to stay here.
LSU Tigers Won when they should have. Now to face a much harder foe in Auburn.
Penn State Nittany Lions Now that's a good say to rebound from a shaky start. On the road at an in-state rival, hostile environment, adverse conditions, and still putting up 51. Plenty of room to climb if they keep that up.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish The Irish turned it over 3 times, and Ball State had more first downs. The game was never really in question but I expected more against the Cardinals.
Washington Huskies
Virginia Tech Hokies
Boise State Broncos
TCU Horned Frogs
UCF Knights
West Virginia Mountaineers
Mississippi State Bulldogs
Oregon Ducks
Michigan Wolverines
Miami Hurricanes Even if it was an FCS foe, putting up 77 is still a good way to help give your offense confidence, and shutting out your opponent is always a good sign.
Oklahoma State Cowboys
Arizona State Sun Devils They looked competent, but how bad is Michigan State, really?
Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors The Run n' shoot is back, and as long as they keep putting up these numbers the Warriors will be back too.
Texas A&M Aggies
