GatorBolt Ballot for 2022 Week 10

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 30, 2022, 10:38 p.m.

Overall Rationale: Eye Test/Resume

Rank Team Reason
Tennessee Volunteers Best resume in the nation, look the part. If they can pull it off in Athens, the sky is the limit for the Vols
Georgia Bulldogs Another strong team. This Saturday is going to be one of the ages I feel.
Ohio State Buckeyes Feel bad moving them down because why they looked mortal, getting a win in Happy Valley is no small feat. I feel they got passed by UT and UGA though.
Michigan Wolverines Knowing how much of a thorn in a side Sparty has been for Michigan, have to be impressed with beating some demons this past Saturday.
Clemson Tigers Clearly deserving of the 5 spot at this stage of the season. Still not a bad resume, but the other 4 teams are better imo.
TCU Horned Frogs They keep winning. Definitely not pretty, but the power of Hypnotoad consumes all.
Alabama Crimson Tide Helped by being idle, but I think they're still a top 7 team.
Oregon Ducks Clearly still the class of the PAC, and can make things interesting if they keep winning.
UCLA Bruins From here, there is no clarity. Still, I like what UCLA has done this season.
Ole Miss Rebels They benefit a lot from other teams losing. Given everything I think they're top ten but who knows if they stay.
Utah Utes Definitely a strong season after the Florida loss still.
USC Trojans Good season for them so far, but with not a lot of quality wins I have to rank them below Utah with head to head in mind.
Illinois Fighting Illini They keep winning, Bert finds a way.
Tulane Green Wave Not sure how they lost to Southern Miss, but that win over K-State proves more impressive by the week.
Kansas State Wildcats Fantastic win, but still with two losses I have to factor in the loss vs Tulane.
North Carolina Tar Heels They keep winning, and Drake Maye is definitely playing like he wants to spend that weekend in New York
Penn State Nittany Lions Feel bad punishing them since their only two losses are to literally Michigan and Ohio State. And I can't say making Ohio State sweat for three quarters is worse than the teams below them would do.
LSU Tigers Definitely benefit in my rankings by other teams losing. Still, their offense has turned a corner, we'll see how it holds next week.
Oregon State Beavers Last week vindicated my pick of having them at 25 instead of South Carolina.
Liberty Flames After a big victory, they stood there and watched teams in front of them lose and now they're in the top 25
Oklahoma State Cowboys 0SU. Sheesh.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons I don't know what to make of this team.
Washington Huskies I feel like they've been underrated by the AP and other Pollsters. I think they're one of the best 25 teams in the nation still.
NC State Wolfpack Ugly game.
Syracuse Orange Their previous record buoys them still. But they are on thin ice now.
