Ticklebump Ballot for 2017 Week 2

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 5, 2017, 1:02 a.m.

Overall Rationale: Unfortunately, We have not learned a ton on week 1. I didn't have tons of movers on my way to the Championship except for a handful at the bottom of the table.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide Hard to deny them the top spot. The Tide took on the Noles and gave them absolute hell. I think they will stay #1 until they decide they don't want it.
Clemson Tigers I think everyone's biggest question surrounding the Hillrunners (way better name than Tigers by the by) was how they would cope without their all world QB. Kelly Bryant looked great against an over matched Kent State. If Bryant gains poise in the pocket, they are my Atlantic Division front runners.
USC Trojans The Condoms let the directional Michiganes stick around for a while but Darnold saw them through. They played well enough for a blind guy to play though so that was awesome.
Ohio State Buckeyes First half stumbles, turned it on in the second half. It feels like I'm writing the review from the 2016 game when they beat my Hokies. Great, now I'm gonna go drink.
Penn State Nittany Lions Barkley looked good. Like really good. This is going to be a monstrous offense for everyone in the Big 10 to deal with.
Oklahoma Sooners Not much to say. 56-7 is self explanatory.
Michigan Wolverines Pulled it out against the Gators. That win will look great at the end of the season but it was sneakily easy to win game with all the Florida suspensions.
Louisville Cardinals Lamar was grinding. Purdue is a lot better than I expected. I'm going to enjoy Louisville challenging for first in the Atlantic.
Wisconsin Badgers Looked smooth all game. 99 yard INT returns are dope.
Florida State Seminoles Probably my biggest mover of the season. Do I hate the Seminoles? Not enough to drop them 9 spots for no reason. Francois is hurt. Bad. A guy like that won't let a cart take him off the field unless he cannot walk. FSU's line got shredded all night. It was Bama, I know. Without the injury to Francois, I would have had the Noles at 6 or 7. They will see big tests from NC State and Miami, both of whom are looking to stake claims to the ACC.
Washington Huskies Handled a surprisingly resilient Rutgers. Good boys.
LSU Tigers COACHOGOTDEMBOISDUINSUMGUDWERKDOWNDERINDASTATEOVLOUSEEANNAANDDEYTAKEDANUMBATWELVSPOTBECUZDEYWERESMOODADENABAYBEESBOTTUMALLBUTTAHDUPLIKEABIGOLEBISCUIT

Oklahoma State Cowboys Scored lots of points. Had a chunk scored on them. They scored more though.
Auburn Tigers Won big. Like everyone else playing small teams. Except Oregon State and Eastern Carolina. Ha.
Kansas State Wildcats Purple magic keeps on conjuring wins.
Virginia Tech Hokies So I'm writing this before the game. The Hokies looked great, led by a young Josh Jackson, thumping the Neers 35-14. Justin Fuente also dropped the people's elbow on Dana and it was majestic.
Miami Hurricanes I kinda hate Miami and that stupid turn over necklace but good job beating Bethune-Cookman. Their first challenge will be against FSU without Francois. Miami may have hit the perfect storm to start climbing the rankings.
USF Bulls Won by 3 scores. Nice.
Stanford Cardinal What the fuck did Rice do to you? Do you have some festering anger from a long ago Rice incident? Bad sushi? Too much Rice in your burrito, too little? YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO KILL THEM, WE KNOW YOU ARE ATHLETIC AND NERDY!
Washington State Cougars I wonder what popcorn guy is doing. Do you think he's happy?
Florida Gators Rough loss for them. I really don't think they deserved the loss with all the suspensions, but this hurts. If they are motivated and focused, they have a good path to the SEC championship and the playoffs but they have to rebound now.
Colorado Buffaloes Why did I leave the Buffs off my first ballot? I forgot they were good. I apologize Buffaloes, I know what it is like to be over looked but keep winning and I'll keep you climbing.
West Virginia Mountaineers I'm writing this after the game, WVU is damn scary. I hate them, but they don't deserve to drop from the top 25.
Tennessee Volunteers I needed to fill out my 25 and they won.
