TheUltimate721 1 Indiana proved why they've won 22 games in a row on Saturday, and they did in about as hostile of an environment as you can possibly get. You can criticize certain aspects of Indiana's play but the Charlie Becker/Nick Marsh combo is going to be incredibly difficult for any team to stop.

Nebraska, Northwestern have not been pretty, but 6-0 still. Lets see when they play someone we know is legit legit (ohio state)
tier 1b: nd, indiana, miami, ucla are all close. but NW + NU > WAKE + Clemson> Wisco + UNC > Oregon, but it is close

T-Thugs 2 Indiana moves up to my #2 spot thanks to wins over Nebraska 5-1 and Northwestern 4-1. Have a chance to lock up a top 2 spot with a game against Ohio State this weekend. I actually think they'll probably lose to Ohio State, who i think is a better team than them, but they've got the resume for now to be here.

Doogitywoogity 4 Man I don’t trust this squad, that was a tight one vs Nebraska. But with all the shakeups up top the question is should it be Ohio State or Indiana up here? I’ve opted for Indiana as Ohio State looked shakey and texas lost. Was texas beating Ohio State the fluke or not? Can Indiana win against teams better than Nebraska? We’ll find out soon enough, so watch this spot.
e8odie 4
elnino550 4 Close game at Nebraska but their win over Northwestern has looked better too, looking at the rest of their schedule the game next week may decided whether they go 11-1 or 12-0

Maladroit44 4 Speaking of teams that haven't played anybody, aside from other teams that *really* haven't played anybody! Indiana has no resume outside of one-score wins over the Big Ten's two NUs, which is pretty solid on paper considering those teams are otherwise 9-0...but the best of those nine wins is either 3-3 Penn State or 4-2 Ohio. You might ask why I believe in Northwestern and Nebraska enough to rank them highly when I don't extend the same confidence to Wisconsin; the answer mostly comes down to how close they played Indiana. But it's important to keep perspective that it'd be kinda silly to have the Hoosiers ahead of ND because they beat their best opponents by *less*, so for now, they fall behind. The meeting with Ohio State this week, of course, will make a lot of this irrelevant.

Lefunnymaymays4lief 5 (-) Is it fair to have OSU above the undefeated and defending champion Hoosiers? I don’t know, but this isn’t about fairness at this stage of the season. They can certainly just win against the Buckeyes in Bloomington this week and just put the argument to bed. Simply put, without an exceptionally clean pocket Hoover just isn’t what Mendoza was, even though with one he can launch some beautiful missiles. Defensively they also seem much less cohesive than last years’ squad. The Marsh/Becker duo and their stable of RBs can challenge any other position group in the country however, and can certainly keep them within reach of the top dogs

Isthmus11 3 6-0, really close game against Nebraska this week where the offense did not really look elite but the defense does. Hoover is good enough that I still think this team is a contender even if the offense is not quite the powerhouse they were last week. Nebraska is probably a top 25 team but I need to see them finally get over the hump and actually beat someone in the top half of the B10 before I give them full credit

_THE__BOULDER_ 5 Tough game on the road against Nebraska. Like Cignetti said, good teams find ways to win. Indiana is a good team, I don't doubt it, but there has certainly been regression from last year to this. Hot take, I know. Josh Hoover somehow managed 263 yards on 12/22 for 2 TDs (Nick Marsh had 6 receptions for 187 yards, both of those passing TDs, and a long of 75 yards, that's how). The running game did not fare well, though - only 65 yards on 22 rushes. I don't think Nebraska or Northwestern are bad teams, not by any means. Indiana should also get credit for the adjustments they made after the half. That being said, Indiana plays Ohio State this weekend, and if they play like that I don't think they'll leave happy.
