1 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia jumps to my top spot thanks to a bigtime win over Alabama this past weekend. Also has a nice win over Oklahoma (3-2, beat Texas)
2 Indiana Hoosiers Indiana moves up to my #2 spot thanks to wins over Nebraska 5-1 and Northwestern 4-1. Have a chance to lock up a top 2 spot with a game against Ohio State this weekend. I actually think they'll probably lose to Ohio State, who i think is a better team than them, but they've got the resume for now to be here.
3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame hangs at #3 in my poll thanks to a solid win over 4-1 Wisconsin. Also has wins over North Carolina (3-2, beat Pitt) and Purdue (3-3, beat Minnesota).
4 Miami Hurricanes Miami has a nice win over Wake Forest (5-1). Also has a win over Clemson (3-2).
5 BYU Cougars BYU is undefeated with a very nice win over Arizona (5-1). Also beat Iowa State (3-3).
6 Texas Tech Red Raiders Texas Tech is undefeated with a nice win over Houston (5-1). Also beat Oregon State (4-2).
7 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama is my top 1 loss team and I think a real contender for the title this year. They have very nice wins over Mississippi State (4-1, beat Missouri) and Kentucky (5-1, beat LSU). Also have wins over Florida State (3-3) and South Carolina (3-3). Only loss is to Georgia.
8 Texas Longhorns Texas is 4-1 with nice wins over Ohio State (5-1, beat Iowa) and Tennessee (5-1). Lost to Oklahoma (3-2).
9 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State is 5-1 with a nice win over Iowa (5-1). They've got a big chance to move up in my rankings this week with a game against Indiana.
10 UCLA Bruins UCLA is 5-0 with a nice win over Oregon (4-2, beat Boise and USC). Also has wins over Purdue (3-3, beat Minnesota) and Cal (3-3).
11 Mississippi State Bulldogs Mississippi State is 4-1 with nice wins over Missouri (5-1, beat Florida), Minnesota (4-2), and South Carolina (3-3). Only loss is to Alabama.
12 Utah Utes Utah is 5-0 with wins over Iowa State (3-3), Kansas (2-3) and Arkansas (2-4). A little behind other undefeated teams because they're really lacking any wins over teams with good records. A win over CU this week won't really change much but then they have games against Arizona, Cincy, and BYU which could really boost their resume.
13 Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss is 4-1. I had them near the top of my rankings earlier in the year before their loss and when the LSU win was looking phenomenal. Still solid. Wins over LSU (4-2), Vanderbilt (3-3) and Louisville (3-3). Lost to Florida.
14 Kentucky Wildcats Kentucky is 5-1 with a nice win over LSU (4-2). Also beat Texas A&M (3-3) and South Carolina (3-3). Only loss is to Alabama.
15 Missouri Tigers Missouri is 5-1 with a nice win over Florida (4-2). Also beat Texas A&M (3-3). lost to Mississippi State.
16 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oklahoma state is 5-1 with a nice win over Oregon (4-2). Also has wins over West Virginia (3-3) and UCF (3-3). Pretty bad loss to Tulsa that doesn't make much sense.
17 Arizona Wildcats Arizona is 5-1 with wins over Cincinnati (4-1) and West Virginia (3-3). Lost to BYU.
18 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Wake forest is 5-1 with wins over Louisville (3-3), NC State (3-3) and Purdue (3-3). Only loss is to Miami
19 Tennessee Volunteers Tennessee is 5-1 with a decent win over Auburn (3-2, beat Baylor). Also beat Arkansas (2-4).
20 Northwestern Wildcats Northwestern is 4-1 with a win over Penn State (3-3). Also beat Colorado (2-3). Only loss is to Indiana.
21 Wisconsin Badgers Wisconsin is 4-1 with a win over Penn State (3-3). Also beat Michigan State (2-4). Only loss is to Notre Dame
22 Boise State Broncos Boise State is 5-1 with wins over Memphis (5-1) and Western Michigan (5-1). Only loss is to Oregon
23 Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa is 5-1 and beat the hell out of Washington (3-3). Also beat Michigan (2-3). Only loss is to Ohio State
24 Nebraska Cornhuskers Nebraska is 5-1 with wins over Maryland (2-4) and Michigan State (2-4). Pretty low because they don't really have any good wins. Might be decent as they should have beaten Indiana last week if they didnt completely fall apart late. Could move up if they beat Oregon this week.
25 USC Trojans USC is 6-1 with wins over Washington (3-3) and Penn State (3-3). Got beat by Oregon.
