Overall Rationale: This is maybe one of my least favorite polls I've ever made....these teams DO NOT HAVE RESUMES! Either they've beat scrubs and lost to the only good team they've played or they beat a good team but drop games to god knows who....UGH

2 Georgia Bulldogs What a win in Tuscaloosa. Arguably the best team and best resume in ball. Waiting in the wings for Indiana to slip up. Last Week: #4
3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Judgement Day (pun not intended) has arrived for Notre Dame. Gameday in Provo to introduce the CFB World to this ND team on a mission. Last Week: #6
4 Alabama Crimson Tide Incredibly tough loss but Bama still has an incredible early body of work. Not a loss worth punishing much at all. Last Week: #3
5 Texas Longhorns Red River Rivalry strikes again! Ohio St win gives Texas. a bit of a mulligan here that they didn't have last season. Last Week: #2
6 Miami Hurricanes Not much to add here during a bye week. Last Week: #7
7 Ohio State Buckeyes Will OSU learn the lessons from the Texas game for next week. Last Week: #5
8 Texas Tech Red Raiders Another team on a bye week. Last Week: #8
9 BYU Cougars Gameday in Provo, BYU clear underdogs imo they've beaten solid teams (primarily Arizona) but ND is another beast entirely. Story of recent BYU teams unable to get over the hump. Last Week: #10
10 UCLA Bruins Incredibly ugly but a win is a win...biggest UCLA football win since?? Last Week: #20
11 Utah Utes Assuming Utah gets past Colorado, they have a very telling stretch coming up against Houston, Cincinnati, BYU, and Arizona all in a row. Think you have to go 3-1 there to be a serious playoff contender. Last Week: #9
12 Mississippi State Bulldogs Another team on a bye week. Last Week: #13
13 Missouri Tigers Dominant win by the Tigers against TAMU. Last Week: #14
14 Tennessee Volunteers That certainly was.....a performance....against Arkansas. Last Week: #19
15 Nebraska Cornhuskers I KNOW i KNOW but their predictive metrics are great and they NEARLY took down the defending national champs. Last Week: #22
16 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oregon losing again does ding this resume a decent amount. Last Week: #11
17 Oregon Ducks I mean....that was one of the worst offensive performances of all time...good thing that's the backup...wins over Boise St and USC are still eons better than what these teams behind them have. So ranked they stay much to my chagrin. Last Week: #12
18 Kentucky Wildcats WOAH talk about cardiac cats, back to back walk offs in OT!!! Huge win on the year. Last Week: NR
19 Ole Miss Rebels This resume is NOT looking so hot with LSU taking another loss...as well as Florida...tf Ole Miss Last Week: #16
20 Boise State Broncos Did enough to get past Fresno St, should be an interesting G5 race between Boise and JMU now that NDSU has taken a loss. Last Week: #21
21 Houston Cougars Solid road win @ KSU, big date with OkSt next weekend. Last Week: #23
