Pikachu1989 Ballot for 2026 Week 9

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 26, 2026, 2:28 a.m.

Overall Rationale: Alright, Week 8 is in the books, and while it wasn’t as crazy like we saw last week, there was still games that affected the polls here, especially in the Top 5. First off happened on Thursday where James Madison lost in OT to Appalachian State and yeah unlike last season, they won’t make the Playoffs. Then we head to the Saturday Slate of games and firs off is Texas Tech going to Cincinnati where they got demolished. Then we saw Tennessee going to South Carolina where they fell. Then we saw a battle of the Top 20 between Texas and Ole Miss where Texas escaped with a win and keep their playoff hopes alive. We saw Iowa being the frauds they are and stumbled against Minnesota. USC went to Wisconsin and USC probably had a few too many to drink as they scored only a TD and lost. Utah and Houston battled it out but in the end, Utah came on top. But nothing tops BYU heading down to Orlando and Scott Frost and his UCF team found a way to beat a Ranked Team and a Top 5 Team no less. I wished he did that while at Nebraska but I digress. Overall it was a crazy weekend of games and who knows what scary games will be seen in this coming week of games since it’s Halloween week.
