LeinadSpoon 12 I expect to be surprised in a positive direction by USC's Darnold-less QB play, and a negative direction by the supporting cast.  Still, losing a potential number 1 draft pick hurts.

Grimbo_Reaper 14 Look. I wasn't super impressed with Darnold. Except when I was. So I don't know if losing him is good for USC or bad. Because when he was on, he was freakin on. But when he wasn't, he was turrible. So his departure might be the worst thing or it could end up bettering the team. But when combined with losing three other guys early and a few Seniors? It's a safe bet to say that they won't get better next season. But they're still one of those stupidly talented rosters, so they probably won't take a huge step back.

Extra_Excrement 21 Speaking of not wanting it any other way, I guess Darnold is a masochist and wants to play in the Factory of Sadness come fall. USC is always a ridiculously talented team with coaching holding them back. I think it's reasonable to say that Washington is the Pac-12 favorite and that USC is currently on the outside looking in. They have some tough away games but I think they'll make a classic late season recovery. I'm not ranking Texas so I might as well comment about them here. They'll beat Maryland in a revenge game, handle Tulsa, TEXASISBACK USC, and then have the wheels fall off their metaphorical wagon from there. Give Herman time, Longhorns.
