moistats_ 6 USC immediately stole Washington's spot for the Pac-12 champion. This was because I chose them as the runner-up to Washington last week, so I moved them up along with Stanford. The match against UNLV got to a rough start, but the Trojans were able to combat the Rebels in a fine fashion. The result currently sealed the deal for me, but next week against Stanford will be the true test.

noahthearc 8 -4 spots. USC slips from early high expectations a bit due to a not-so-convincing victory over UNLV.

BosskOnASegway 11 USC always takes time to get started in their first game.  No move for them in my book.

nickknx865 11 I really struggled with this one. UNLV kept it close with them till half when they pulled away, and I thought about dropping them below the top 15. This is a default "I don't know who else to put here it's week one" ranking.

bgr308 13 USC is another team that took care of business Saturday, despite a slow start against UNLV. Freshman QB JT Daniels played well, as did freshman WR Amon-Ra St. Brown. USC will be tested early against Stanford this weekend, but still should win the Pac-12 South.
Blooblod 13 Little to no movement.

Miami_da_U 14 Wasn't very impressed with the home win vs UNLV. Stanford and Texas next which will determine if they're deserving of a top15 spot or not.

xelphin 14 I think we all expected a bit more than for USC to be only a few points ahead of UNLV going into the 4th quarter. They absolutely showed up in the 4th to make it look better than it was, but they are going to need to prove they can do that early and consistently before they can move up much higher in the polls.
52hoova 15 Giving up 21 to UNLV is potentially cause for concern, but can't knock a team too much for getting a win.

Charlemagne42 15 The Pac-12 is top heavy this year, just like most years. USC is an unknown quantity, and beating UNLV didn't do very much to make them known.

chrisb19 16 A mediocre but serviceable performance against UNLV. Stanford's defense didn't look scary enough to really trouble the true freshman Daniels. This will be a fascinating week 2 matchup.

BallSoHerd 25

hokies220 25 Looked fine for the most part. Other teams I considered here were Minnesota, Vandy, Colorado, and UNT.  I did not consider Michigan State nor Penn State for struggling so much at home to put away teams they really should not have struggled with. Maybe. Maybe App State and Utah State will win 10 games and those will be damn good wins, but right now they're not. They both barely made it to 1-0.
