Hobbes_121 Ballot for 2018 Week 7

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 8, 2018, 8:04 a.m.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide
Ohio State Buckeyes
Clemson Tigers
Georgia Bulldogs
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Penn State Nittany Lions
LSU Tigers Probably higher on LSU than most, but I still value wins over Miami and on the road in Auburn.
Oklahoma Sooners
West Virginia Mountaineers I'm not sure I can have WV much higher based off their schedule and their best win so far being Texas Tech. It's too bad they can't really prove it until Nov.
UCF Knights UCF has separated themselves among the G5 by continuing to take care of business. SMU who made things a little interesting vs TCU was down for the count only 12 minutes in vs UCF. Not many teams can have their QB put up an ok game and still score 48 on a conference opponent.
Michigan Wolverines Michigan's lone loss to ND keeps looking better. It's actually why I had them jump Washington with Auburn losing again. A date with Wisconsin is up next.
Washington Huskies
Texas Longhorns I'm still holding on to their loss to Maryland. But as each week goes on it's looking more like a bump and not a sign. Also wins over USC & TCU haven't looked as good with those teams slipping. I personally had UT/OU as a coin flip and think 13 in generous.
Florida Gators
Miami Hurricanes
Oregon Ducks
Wisconsin Badgers
Colorado Buffaloes
Texas A&M Aggies Getting to the 2 loss teams, went with A&M > Auburn. Simply put, >120 or so teams would have also lost to both Alabama & Clemson.
Auburn Tigers
NC State Wolfpack It's a darn shame their game vs WVU was cancelled.
Kentucky Wildcats
Stanford Cardinal
Cincinnati Bearcats Respect to Cincy for being 6-0. I gave them the nod over USF because of the extra game and taking care of business in a couple of their games. Who would have thought in Oct that the AAC East would have 3 undefeated teams?
USF Bulls I begrudgingly have USF ranked, not because of the rivalry, but I'm not big on teams that continue to play down to their opponents. But undefeated is undefeated, and there's enough chaos around the 20's I felt it was fine for now.
