lowes18	8	Tennessee went into Georgia Tech and won a game playing conservative. I was impressed by the ability of Tennessee's rushing attack, and freshman QB Faizon Brandon who after a spotty first half went 5-6 on passing for 42 yards and some key rushes to covert for first downs. Tennessee's offense line also had a good second half bounce back after some struggles in the first half, including some costly penalties. Georgia Tech did run the ball somewhat effectively, but a good night on pass rush gives a mixed grade to the Tennessee defense who by and large prevented Georgia Tech from ever seriously contesting this game.

And props to the Vols. Their offense looks ridiculous, especially their running game, and their defense has created some timely turnovers that have keep games out of arm's reach.

I think it will actually turn out to be a decent win. Tennessee will have a huge chance to move bigtime in my poll in 2 weeks when they play Texas.

_THE__BOULDER_	13	I know GT is now 0-2, but this was a solid win over an OOC opponent, with a 17 point 2nd quarter to start off what essentially became a 3-score lead throughout the rest of the game. Tennessee ripped off some big plays too, showing a dynamic offense. Tenn now has a tune up against Kennesaw St before attempting to find out who the real UT is in two weeks.
