Lots of mismanagement by coach Day in the second half, but the squad is still arguably the best in the nation as far as I can tell. They should still be a top contender and every game on their schedule appears to be very winnable, if the coaching staff adjusts how they handle and approach closing games and second half adjustments.

lowes18	5	Ohio State has the "best loss" of the sport, losing by one point on the road to the number one team in the country. This team's talent is frankly undeniable, although the 4th quarter collapse brings up plenty of interesting questions on if this Buckeye team can handle the daunting schedule in front of them with essentially no margin for error. I was not impressed with Julian Sayin's performance, who's poor red zone efficiency essentially cost the Buckeyes the game. I also came out of this game deeply concerned with the pass rushing efficiency of the Buckeye's, who gave Arch Manning an obscene amount of time in the pocket on Saturday. Its entirely possible Texas is just the best team in the country, but the way Ohio State lost this weekend made me more concerned with them than when I came into the game.

TheUltimate721	5	That was a rough second half for the Buckeyes. The second that Julian Sayin lost his safety blanket of Jeremiah Smith, he looked incapable of running an offense. They'll still probably cruise to a playoff spot, but this team looks incredibly mortal and the Big Ten is ravenous.

Zloggt	6	Do I REALLY think that Ohio State is #6? Eh...not really. But I suppose that if everybody else just flip-flops tOSU and Texas around, why shouldn't I do so as well? Guess I'll say the same as I did with Texas last year - it's commendable to play serious noncon games to start the season, but acknowledge the high-risk/high-reward aspect as well (i.e. a quality loss shouldn't be severely punished, but neither should it be used as a crutch).

Instead, they blew it terribly in the 4th. Even so, this team might be the most talented in the country, and if they continue to win, they'll easily remain in a playoff spot.

If you take the Ohio State expectations out, a win over Ball State and a loss against #1 Texas on the road gets a G6 team nearly ranked. Put the Ohio State expectations on there, and this seems fair. This team is better than 8th, but there has to a punishment for losses.

elnino550	10	Have to be the highest ranked 1-1 team, and it feels harsh to have them as low as 10th, but next week will cause a lot more shake-ups with teams facing real opponents for the first time. I would be slightly concerned that that OSU's offence will rely solely on Sayin to Smith (They had 2 elite WR2s the last 2 years with Egbuka and Tate that they will hope to find), but the new look defence showed plenty of flashes that they will still be top tier.

_THE__BOULDER_	4	Although the fashion in which they lost wasn't great (giving up a 3 score lead in the 4th, only scoring 3 in the second half), they only lost to a top 5 team on the road by 1 point. I don't want to punish teams for scheduling games like this, and I'm inclined to believe this team is going to rebound. The 4th quarter wasn't a very good show of it, and Texas also helped to dig their own graves during the first half, but this defense is really good and kept things running strong until they were, by the 4th quarter, absolutely gassed. While Texas's defense is also elite, OSU may want to do some introspection on why they only scored 3 in the second half, because, with the players they have, that should not be happening. This team still has the air of a contender, however, and I won't knock them out of the top 5 for this loss. If this becomes a trend, however, we'll see how things go.
