Blew out an inferior opponent. Still appear to be the most well-balanced team offensively and defensively, even despite the possible permanent loss of Chase Young.

Kicking onside in the first quarter up 14-0 was cruel and pointless, but I guess that's why nobody pays me to coach college football.

[2923] MoV is capped at 25, but nice try Buckeyes. Get a better opponent next wee -- *sees Rutgers* -- oh. (-1)

The Buckeyes stay at number two in my poll following a trouncing of Maryland.

Ohio St to me have been the most impressive team and keep pummeling everyone. My computer poll already has them at a rating equivalent to where Clemson finished last year. Still, I have to knock them down due to their schedule for now.

(Computer #2: LSU) Clearly the top two teams in the country.

Last Week: 2

As for Ohio State, the win against Maryland just continued what they did - thrashing every opponent they faced. Unfortunately, they do not have any big wins against Top 15 teams. As such, I do not think it makes sense to give them the No. 1 spot when LSU does. They could take it back considering how they do against Penn State and Michigan, but that's for a different time.

I buy into the idea that this may be the most complete team. I would love to see the Buckeyes and (LSU) Tigers take each other on. It would be a fantastic championship game. Hope we get to see it.
