bretticus733 6 Why did Ohio State drop another 2 spots and 4 spots overall the last couple weeks? Well who have they beaten? As of now, their marquee wins are Iowa and Notre Dame, both teams that are seriously underwhelming this season. All 5 teams in front of them have beaten at least one ranked team. Ohio State might be the most talented team in the country, but if we punish G5 teams for weaker resumes then Ohio State has to be as well. They get their first chance at making a good impression against Penn State on the road this weekend.

PrimalCookie 9 2.957 // I feel the need to explain why EQW hates Ohio State so much, because yeah #9 definitely feels a bit nuts. To put it simply, they ain't played no one Paul. Their best win is #37 Notre Dame, and that's their *only* top half win (by a technicality, TH wins are top 65 and their next best win is #66 Iowa, but technically true is the best kind of true). The computer looks at them and sees a team that's undefeated, but hasn't really been tested yet. That'll change this week against Penn State, and I expect them to shoot up a few spots next week (obviously assuming they win).

Dawg-Bite 3 Last week I had Ohio State at 5 because they don’t have any ranked wins or a win against anyone I viewed as even decent, and they still don’t after Iowa. However, the absolute dominance score wise and stat wise against Iowa despite not playing their best game forced my hand. The turnovers definitely helped, but Ohio State whooped them by about 3 times the score Michigan did, and I can’t just ignore that because Iowa is not good.

To their credit, they at least tried to schedule a respectable non-con (unlike other people...) but this team still lacks a good win (which I'm not even sure Penn St will count as after this week)
