The one thing we did learn, no matter the outcome, is that this team is legit and capable of a 10-win regular season, if not more.

The offense was shut down in the 2nd half and while the defense held on as long as they could, they ended up being unable to stop Clemson’s 2nd half rushing attack. Dumb penalties and bad clock management also did them in. A home game against an underwhelming Notre Dame is next.

Syracuse looked amazing in the 1st half at Clemson going into halftime with a 21-10 lead, however (and unforunate for the Orange) football is played in two halves. Syracuse this looks like a solid team, but they learned this week that they have to play great for all 60 minutes to beat the top teams, and they didn't do that. This Week vs Notre Dame.
