bretticus733 10 UCLA’s undefeated season came to an end in Eugene as Chip Kelly lost in his return to Autzen. The defense was running circles trying to keep up with Oregon’s offense and their offense was held in check until Oregon had built a comfortable lead that UCLA couldn’t surmount. They’re still in contention for the PAC-12 title and should win around 9 games, but their loss to Oregon showed their shortcomings.

bruhstevenson 11 (-2) Admittedly, I thought UCLA shouldn’t have been ranked higher than Oregon last week based on the eye test, but their résumé had me put them above Oregon. After getting dominated by Oregon, UCLA falls in the rankings. Still wasn’t as bad of a loss as Penn State had so UCLA stays above the Nittany Lions. Having a 1-0 record against Utah while USC has an 0-1 record against Utah also has me put UCLA above USC.

UCLA's defense not being able to stop Oregon's offense on 6-straight possessions is concerning going forward, but I guess the good thing about being in the PAC 12 is that the Bruins really only have one more test on their schedule in their last five games, and that comes on 11/19 vs #13 USC. This Week vs Stanford.
