Zloggt Ballot for 2026 Week 3

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 15, 2026, 10:16 a.m.

Overall Rationale: Every five teams make up one tier, for a total of five tiers overall. Here comes the big(ish) shakeup that I promised last week, kinda! And probably a tad bit more vindictive/kneejerk than I would usually be, even...

Rank Team Reason
Texas Longhorns The Chosen Nephew has saved them...
Indiana Hoosiers
Georgia Bulldogs
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Miami Hurricanes
Ohio State Buckeyes Do I REALLY think that Ohio State is #6? Eh...not really. But I suppose that if everybody else just flip-flops tOSU and Texas around, why shouldn't I do so as well? Guess I'll say the same as I did with Texas last year - it's commendable to play serious noncon games to start the season, but acknowledge the high-risk/high-reward aspect as well (i.e. a quality loss shouldn't be severely punished, but neither should it be used as a crutch).
Texas A&M Aggies
Ole Miss Rebels JOEY FRESHWATER DELENDA EST
LSU Tigers ...(unfortunately, I ain't so sure if the revenge we all desire is going to be dished out on Saturday...)
USC Trojans 3-0! Not a particularly amazing 3-0, but 3-0 nonetheless!
Texas Tech Red Raiders USC probably isn't better than Texas Tech, and I am perhaps just overly relying on the "haha they struggled against Oregon State" angle to swap them around. But dang it - I don't care! Beavers are probably better than they look tbh, but still! It's a bit underwhelming! And I still got a bone to pick with Tech so yeah!
Alabama Crimson Tide
BYU Cougars
Penn State Nittany Lions
Tennessee Volunteers Vols' generally stronger resume justifies me swapping them around with SMU, at least in my perspective...
SMU Mustangs ...plenty of time for the Mustangs to catch up and respond, however...
Utah Utes
Iowa Hawkeyes
Houston Cougars
Virginia Cavaliers Pollsters be underappreciating the 'Hoos...not me though!
Missouri Tigers ...I'm obviously NOT going to be upset over a road rivalry win (teehee!)...but yeah, Eli probably needs some lessons on knowing WHEN to speak (and this is something Mizzou fans have generally talked about over the past few seasons before it REALLY showed up last week, haha...)
Louisville Cardinals ...likewise, guess I got to give more respect to the Cardinals too, you know?
Boise State Broncos ...Oregon doing the thing that they did probably doesn't help make their near-win look as good as it did...guess it's nice that they soon managed to dispatch an also decent Memphis team the next week after to alleviate that concern!
Tulsa Golden Hurricane ...not going to lie, I am probably being VERY double standard-y for dropping Washington out entirely for struggling against a team they should've crushed, while propping up Tulsa like this despite them also having some trouble taking care of their opponent on Saturday...but alas, I cannot help myself! Also, guess it also works when the team you beat at home then goes to beat a Top 10 team the next week after (indirect benefits yay!!!)
Oklahoma State Cowboys Again, the Pokes are PROBABLY not good as Michigan is (not to mention me opting to pick a 1-1 team over a 2-0 one)...but you can also argue that beating Oregon is more impressive than beating Oklahoma (and also I do not care for either Oregon OR Michigan all that much, so let me have some early-season fun before having to let those guys back inside lol)
