peachios Ballot for 2019 Week 5

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 22, 2019, 3:40 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Clemson Tigers They just keep humming and I can't see any reason to drop them, maybe if you go on straight best wins losses
Georgia Bulldogs Jumped up with the great win against notre dame
LSU Tigers This is a team that could be number 1 ish with their wins, texas seems good/great still and that offense is scary. the defense is surprisingly suspect but won't drop them for that, yet
Ohio State Buckeyes this team is insane, excited for maybe better competition soon. the scorelines they are putting up almost dont make sense.
Alabama Crimson Tide Another strong win, issue for Bama is they haven't played many good teams yet. And these top 6-8 almost seem interchangable
Oklahoma Sooners didn't play so just get to sit here above the chaos
Auburn Tigers while Bo Nix didn't do much, he didnt have to. starting to wonder with all these undefeated teams when the ones thought best at the beginning should drop. Luckily 5 are in teh SEC so they'll play soon
Wisconsin Badgers finally a seemingly good team, but now michigan isn't even ranked.still looked strong
Florida Gators I mean they don't look all that strong, but are just winning
Notre Dame Fighting Irish put up much more a fight than I expected against UGA, almost no drop
Texas Longhorns a close win against a decent team I believe. Stronger D than last year should help
Oregon Ducks looking really good since that initial close loss vs an undefeated strongish team
Penn State Nittany Lions still in the I think they are great area, on a bye
California Golden Bears A strong non conference win away at Ole Miss, cause at least its a P5 team and the sec. Was close, but then again even if the TD went in Ole Miss would need the 2 pt conversion
Boise State Broncos mostly moving up cause others losing, but scraped out a close one against the air force bros
Iowa Hawkeyes moving on up, on a bye week, guess other teams shouldn't lose
Virginia Cavaliers let the Monarchs hangout for a little too long, but still made it out.
Washington Huskies Two strong weeks after that close Cal game.
Iowa State Cyclones Just waxed their competition, looking strong again, which is interesting
Kansas State Wildcats
Wake Forest Demon Deacons I had them at 25 last week, and with this large deluge of folks losing them and many others around 25 are getting a bump.
USC Trojans now onto the 3rd stringer, who looked good beating utah which was seen as the class of the pac, possibly, this year. yes this early on I am doing the they beat you so you are above them ranking with Utah. (though ND and Washington the next 2 weeks likely mean USC drops, likely)
Utah Utes Well Utah did look strong this year...
SMU Mustangs Idk the last time the Mustangs were ranked, def never by me, but it'll be interesting to see if they can keep it going. I'm too young to know much about SMU before the death penalty
UCF Knights Still a strong scary team, but losing to pitt isn't a good way to stay high, then again if Pitt could have pulled out the win against PSU tit would have looked better.
