Cobainism Ballot for 2017 Week 3

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 12, 2017, 9:58 a.m.

Overall Rationale: I unfortunately didn't have the time this week to really write up my reasons for Week 3's rankings, Let me know if you have any questions or objections

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide
Oklahoma Sooners
Clemson Tigers
USC Trojans
Penn State Nittany Lions Honestly, # 3-5 are very, very close at this point. The Nittany Lions are absolutely for real, and could very well be the current favorites to win the B1G conference
Michigan Wolverines
Oklahoma State Cowboys
Washington Huskies
Ohio State Buckeyes All-star recruits doesn't always equal all-star results. A lot of B1G teams will eat the Buckeye  secondary for breakfast and have JT Barret's subpar QB play for dessert
LSU Tigers
Wisconsin Badgers
Louisville Cardinals Lamar Jackson will play the biggest game of his career this Saturday night vs Clemson. I've been really impressed by his clear progress as a passer, as he's a lot more patient in the pocket before he decides to take off with his legs
Georgia Bulldogs
Florida State Seminoles
Miami Hurricanes
Virginia Tech Hokies
Kansas State Wildcats
Auburn Tigers Auburn has an amazing defense, maybe even a national championship-caliber defense. But if the offensive display vs Clemson is any indication of future performance (whether if the fault lies with the playcalling, execution, or both), the orange Tigers will end up in the Outback Bowl or wherever. Fortunately, it's still early enough in the season to rectify these kinks
Stanford Cardinal
TCU Horned Frogs The Horned Frogs really impressed me on Saturday vs an SEC team. They did make shoot themselves in the foot a few times, but the game never seemed to be in question by the second half.
Washington State Cougars
Florida Gators
Colorado Buffaloes WHY ARE THE BUFFS STILL UNRANKED IN THE AP POLL!!
UCLA Bruins
USF Bulls
