bretticus733 21 Penn State started slow against Indiana but eventually turned on the jets and beat the Hoosiers pretty easily. There’s a clear gulf in the Big 10 between OSU, UM, and everyone else. The Nittany Lions are lower for me because I’m not forgiving of blowout losses. If they were close then I might have them up a few more spots.

Comit22 15 This isn't a bad Penn St. squad, and their losses to #2 Ohio State and #3 Michigan aren't bad either. They just haven't racked up any high-quality wins to push them above other 2-loss teams. And, truth be told, the Nittany Lions likely won't get a shot against another elite team until bowl season. Still, PSU stays above NC State because PSU is yet to really have a bad loss.

dusklord1 15 We've yet to get our annual James Franklin Special where Penn State has a completely inexplicable loss late in the season. Not sure that the Big 10 is good enough for that to happen this year though. They're pretty clearly #3 in the conference and everyone else ranges from mediocre (Illinois and Maryland) to awful (Rutgers and Northwestern).
