stripes361 7 Penn State played even with Ohio State, a team above them in the rankings. Only dropping them two spots.
TheJeemTeam 7 2/3 in Tier F/G: Because I combined the tiers, PSU also needed to be included in the ranking within the tier. I decided that PSU belonged ahead of Michigan due to the 1-point loss to Ohio State being their only on the season.

GenialGiant 8 A heart-breaking finish against Ohio State and the near-certainty of missing the B1G championship game certainly hurt, but, for the most part, Penn State played well against a team that looks to be playoff-bound. (5)

Miami_da_U 9 They looked better than tOSU, but they blew it. I actually have them moving up one spot cause Stanford got destroyed by ND. The only thing is, like AU I don't expect them to move up much higher until they play Michigan. I think MSU is overrated by like everyone though. McSorley played great though. Not the most consistent thrower, but kids just a good football player.

woakley 12 Penn State was a puzzling play call and a rough 4th quarter away from having a real shot to upset Ohio State. They need to drop after the loss because there are undefeated teams more deserving right now, but Penn State is clearly able to compete with the better teams in the nation. Their question is coaching not talent at this point.

joebob431 14 Losing to #4 Ohio State is a missed opportunity, but it won't hurt their score much. Pitt and Kent State are doing them no favors, but #77 Illinois might be borderline mediocre? Best Win: #54 App State

noahthearc 14 -6 spots. Penn State will have a sour taste in their mouth after their loss to the Buckeyes. Their season isn't over and they have Michigan State coming next.

moistats_ 19 It was a very close loss to Ohio State, but the fact that they couldn't seal the deal with that kind of home advantage is very concerning. I won't disqualify them completely like Stanford because it was against a very tough team.
BunnySelfDestruct 20 Quality Win: Appalachian State,  Win: Illinois,  Bad Win: Pittsburgh, Kent State,  Quality Loss: Ohio State,
relax_on_the_mat 20 Best win...is their close loss to OSU at home.

bread_buddy 25
W_Is_For_Will 25 4-1, Losses do not typically get ranked based on my methodology. However, after reviewing the remaining 4-1 games where they played poor opponents I am left with a 4-1 team that had the best loss out of any of the remaining teams. A loss against the top 5 team in the nation by 1 point.
