GenialGiant 4 Not the best quarterback in the world, but Penn State still finds themselves in a good position going into 2020.

peachios 5 I guess at least they dont have to play this fall wihtout micah parsons...
steelcitygator 5 They are loaded with talent and, while it doesn't matter because they aren't playing, Parson's might have been the best defensive player in the country.  The biggest problems with them are consistent WR play and whether Clifford is actually their best QB (I am not sure about that).  Also had the best TE in the country.

Charlemagne42 6 With depth at key positions, this is a bad year for PSU to sit on the bench.

NyquillusDillwad20 6 PSU had the best TE, LB, and one of the best RB groups in the country. A returning QB and their best O-line in the Franklin era would have given them the chance to compete with OSU for the B1G East. The WR group was the only big question mark outside of Jahan Dotson.

crownebeach 8 I would like to see it from Penn State over a full season. The upside is there to make the playoff, but we haven't seen them look all that good on the offensive line, like, ever. If experience is enough to finally make that unit play well, then PSU is a top-four team everywhere else.

D1amondDude 10 We know who Penn State is and we know who James Franklin is.  They're a good football team who can't seem to get one over on the Buckeyes.  I don't expect this year to change.  Especially since they're not playing.  But if they were, I wouldn't expect this year to change.

Maladroit44 10 +1 | 75.6 | Penn State, like conference foe Michigan, has a bit of an Ohio State problem, but for various reasons they look a tad likelier to deal with it in 2021. Sean Clifford headlines a potentially brilliant offence, but the defence could slip at the line.
