I don't usually rank teams this highly with so little returning production, but Auburn's biggest losses are on the defensive line, and as a general rule DL production is the easiest to replace. Their coordinators are also consistent producers, especially Kevin Steele. Should be top-ten in a reload year.

Auburn is and always be a mystery.  When they're expected to be awful, they win national championships.  When they're expected to be good they turn in losing seasons.  The best we can do is guess.  I think we see marked improvement from Bo Pix, possibly allowing him to shed that moniker for something more desirable like Bo Six.  I think the defense takes a step back after losing some key pieces on the line.  The real loss here is that they no longer have a player who goes by "Boobie".

Intriguing.  That's my byline on my non-existent article on them.  I think their offense isn't as good as some want to say and know the defense had some turnover so I'm putting them down here.

Auburn always feels like a wild card and I feel no different this year. Bo Nix has a high ceiling, but he seems very unpredictable.
