2020 Preseason Wisconsin Badgers Rankings

Main Poll Voters

User Rank Reason
crownebeach 3 Wisconsin lost its best offensive player in Jonathan Taylor and its best defensive player in Zack Baun, but nothing else important. There are at least two returning starters at every position group, so I fully expect Bucky to continue not having any weaknesses. 10-2 was likely and 11-1 was reasonable, so I am projecting a sneaky upset here in the top four.
Maladroit44 6 +12 | 80.4 | Ohio State's closest challenger in the spring, the Badgers should have one of the best teams in the Big Ten, with the immensely underrated Jack Coan spearheading their efforts under centre and 80% pre-offseason returns from the #6 defence.

Charlemagne42 8 Also a very bad year to take off. The OL is experienced, Mertz was having a great camp, Wisconsin finally looked like an offense that didn't rely on one standout RB. Kevin Warren ended all of that.

NyquillusDillwad20 10 Sure they lose Taylor, but Wisconsin will surely replace him with another stud. And Wisconsin has a capable QB for the first time in a while.
peachios 10 could be higher, maybe I have my wisconsin shouldnt be too close to#5 glasses on

D1amondDude 12 Wisconsin continues to benefit by playing in the weaker division of the Big 10.  They win most of their games by playing big-boy football and bullying teams that don't survive on a diet that consists strictly of beer and cheese.  Then they get waxed by Ohio State.  Or, like Penn State, they would if they were playing.

steelcitygator 14 Consistently the best but once again that top 3 in the B10 West is pretty fluid in my mind.  Wisconsin and Minnesota just edge Iowa but once again any order for these 3 wouldn't color me shocked.
