Never would've guessed that UNC would've been the undefeated ACC Coastal team with a chance to clinch the division in their 10th game of the season, but here we are. The teams in the top 12 are the ones with a seemingly realistic chance at making the CFP, and that's why UNC is here. If they somehow win out (at #24 Wake Forest, vs Georgia Tech, vs #17 NC State then the ACC Championship vs #10 Clemson) then you could see a sneaky UNC in the CFP. This Week at #24 Wake Forest.

Comit22	13	So, it turns out that Clemson is not the only 1-loss team to have been beaten by Notre Dame. What UNC lacks, however, is any semblance of a quality win. Their best win was likely their nail-biter over a bad Duke team. That's how they've gotten placed behind a pair of 2-loss teams, but UNC could propel themselves much higher if they're able to run the table with wins over NC State and Clemson (though they would still need help to make the Playoff in that scenario).
