UNC is quietly 5-1 and they feel like they got forgotten thanks to their early season defensive woes. Their defense is still not good, but they’re definitely improved. Drake Maye could be a future Heisman contender.

UNC is utterly fraudulent and will win ten games because of their schedule. As someone who watches them weekly because I hate myself, I'm fine with ranking them but I will be damned if I rank them above 20 any point this year. The definition of the can't keep getting away with this GIF.

Drake Maye is a football god. If this team doesn't lose to Notre Dame, they're up the rankings next to Syracuse and Wake. Must watch football every week.

The Tar Heels have the inside track to the conference title game, however, they have struggled a lot with 4 one score victories including the last 2. I defintley want to see the Tar Heels win by more if they seek to rise in theese rankings.

They are 6-1 now and earn a spot in my poll.

They’ve had quite a few ugly wins and the one loss to an up-and-down Notre Dame team isn’t great, but the Tar Heels boast a very legit offense and are a team that could potentially spoil a higher ranked team’s night. Chosen over NC State because NC State’s season outlook looks quite bleak after the news about Devin Leary.
