This team is entirely unpredictable with a close loss to Ohio State, a huge win over Clemson, and losses to Marshall and Stanford. It’s a borderline top 25 team until they can find their consistency.

Comit22 22 What in the world is this Notre Dame team. They have wins over #10 Clemson and #13 North Carolina but also have losses to Marshall and Stanford. The fact that Illinois also has bad losses is what keeps the Irish above them, but ND's own bad losses keep them from going higher. I have no idea what to do with this team and can't wait to see them face off with USC in a few weeks.

Dawg-Bite 22 2 of Notre Dame’s losses are to terrible teams, but they dominated 3 decent ACC teams (2 of which I have ranked). Also one of those teams they dominated beat Florida State.

dusklord1 23 I don't get this team at all. Maybe they've turned a corner, maybe they'll lose to Navy next week. However, I don't see any other teams as being clearly better and have to give some amount of credit to blowing out otherwise undefeated Clemson and UNC teams (even if it turns out they're both 5+ spots overrated than they currently are). Their defense is legit.
