| quantum_jedi | 4 | One of the best wins of the first weekend. Defense appears as good as expected and the offensive line performed well enough against a solid front seven, despite preseason injuries. |

| xX_GIGA_MAN_Xx | 5 | A good win against a decent TAMU team. Very easy schedule from here on out, if you don't go 11-1 and make the playoffs at the least then you should be asking some serious questions. |

| _TGT7 | 6 | Good win on the road against Texas A&M. Don't quite feel comfortable putting Notre Dame in the top 5 or 4 teams yet though |

| daredassdude | 6 | Best win coming out of Week 1, defeating a defense-heavy A&M team at Kyle Field and outmatching them on defense. Team much improved from the Brian Kelly days |

| SquadPoopy | 6 | I don't buy it. I just don't okay? I've spent 15 years of my life watching college football now, and I feel Notre Dame is just doing the same thing every year where they just fail to impress against major opponents. Maybe I feel this way because for most of my time watching College football their coach was Brian Kelly, so my vision of them may be unfairly clouded. I hope Marcus Freeman can break that trend, but for now I'm going with what I know. This is your chance to break the Notre Dame narrative Marcus. |

| loganisfresh | 7 | A sloppy game, but as we have seen in previous seasons, winning a night game at Kyle Field is no easy task, and by the end Notre Dame made it a double-digit victory against a ranked Texas A&M. It wasn't the prettiest game by far, and it remains to be seen how good of an opponent Texas A&M will actually end up being by season's end, but for now, one of the most impressive wins of the week considering the circumstances. |

| schneeplehoppen | 9 | |
| throwaway_6786 | 9 | There's a lot for Notre Dame to work on after watching that performance (particularly on offense). That being said, Freeman and his staff made the right adjustments after halftime and got a win in a tough road environment. We'll see if the Irish can build off of this win. |
