Zloggt	14	Some people may want Marcus Freeman out of South Bend. These people are either those who are having a hard time getting over Brian Kelly, or just completely insane. He's FINE. Maybe not going to get the Irish back in the TOP spotlight as his predecessor did, but for what the entire LSU poaching sage curtailed, this was a perfectly FINE and WISE decision to make. Perhaps things would've gone better had they not lost against Clemson or Louisville (and of course the 4-point loss against Ohio State too), but for what it was, 2023 remained still a FINE year, especially if you take into consideration that they are pretty much what started USC's RAPID decline from CFP hopefuls to middling status. And if it weren't for the fact the a coach choking the chicken in East Lansing caused an ENTIRE football program in Corvallis to be set back YEARS, maybe the bowl game would've been more competitive for us to watch - but hey, I'm sure Irish players and fans would nonetheless enjoy laying loose like they did in El Paso...

bretticus33	15	It's fair to say that Notre Dame took a step back with Marcus Freeman. Even with a star QB, the offense was inconsistent and the coaching let them down at times. Notre Dame is one of those teams that should benefit from the expanded CFP, but that isn't stopping them from making moves to improve that offense. Denbrock could be one of the best non-HC hires of the offseason.
