Overall Rationale: Alright, what a fun season of CFB we had in the last installment of a 4 team Playoff and Pac 12 before we head into the new era of 12 Teams in the CFP going forward. We saw that Georgia took Florida State to the woodshed, and Ohio State couldn’t muster a TD against Missouri, and Iowa getting shutout for the 2nd game in a row in the Citrus Bowl. Last Touchdown was against Nebraska on Black Friday and it’s funny that Nebraska scored a TD more recently than Iowa. LSU beating Wisconsin in the final minutes of the Reliaquest Bowl, and Clemson beating Kentucky in the dying seconds in the Gator Bowl. Wyoming getting the Game Winning FG in the Arizona Bowl to send Coach Bohl out a winner in his last game. But in the end it we saw 2 Great Games in the Semi Finals in the Rose Bowl where we saw Michigan and Alabama go toe to toe before Michigan coming back took the lead and snuffed Alabama deep in the Red Zone and beat them. Then in the Sugar Bowl we saw Washington and Texas fight it out and while Washington took a comfortable lead in the 3rd Quarter, Texas clawed back and had a chance to win the game, but in the end Washington took the win. Then in the National Championship, it was all Michigan and while Washington played its best, there was no stopping Michigan and with that, they won their first National Championship since 1997 when they won the AP Poll and split it with Nebraska which won the Coaches Poll (Coaches Poll is much better than a Piece of wood. I think Nebraska wins if we had a Nebraska-Michigan at a neutral site in 1997), and an outright unanimous National Championship since 1948. It was a fun season and glad we got to see Michigan win the National Championship and B1G Football bookends the current 4 team CFP.
