Player_1_has_Joined Ballot for 2023 Final

Ballot Type: Computer

Overall Rationale: Last computer poll of the year for me. As I've said on previous ballots, my computer ballot attempts to try and mimic how the committee may make their selections. This is my first time submitting through Reddit. I feel like this was also the least consistent year for my ballot. I think this is largely due to the resume portion that gets weighted more and more heavily over the season. I have already started to tinker with how to evaluate resume moving forward. I think my main issue with how I was measuring resume was that if X team loses to Y team and Y was perceived as the favorite, than X wouldn't really receive a harsh punishment, whereas if the opposite happened, Y would be punished for losing as a favorite. Case in point, the final ballot didn't punish Florida State really that much for their loss to Georgia (fell from 3 to 5 in my poll) but Texas losing to Washington made them fall from 5 to 9. Definitely something I'm planning on tinkering with because I want my computer ballot to closely mimic the public polls like the CFP committee and the AP poll. This year, for whatever reason, the methodology wasn't as close as it was prior. I've run this for a few years now and I've never had a top 25 this unique compared to the other polls/ballots.
