right back in it. my prediction pre-season was Saban's Last Ride, he wins the national championship and retires. After a bumpy start that looks possible again. |

Beat arguably their most physical opponent in their toughest remaining environment left (other than the iron bowl). Still have Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn on their schedule, but Bama are doing their best General Sherman impression by slowly burning a path towards Atlanta. |

Didn’t move Alabama at all because they beat a Texas A&M team on the road by one possession, and were in control for most of the game. Alabama seems to have fixed most of their woes, and should be discussed more. |

Down 17-10 at the half, the Crimson Tide outscored Texas A&M 16-3 in the 2nd half to come away with a 6 point victory. The Oklahoma jump into the top 4 pushes Bama down 1. |

Man :( . They played bad but still won. They couldn't run the ball, dropped a bunch of passes, and committed penalties. Yet they still won. They found the two weaknesses of the opponent and exploited them, a bad oline and secondary. We in the crowd did our part, I'd like to think, causing so many false starts(whether it was us or not, I'm taking the credit). And the defense even gave us a chance. But the Bama d line dominated, we couldn't score from the two, and for some reason I don't understand, took a field goal when the best hope was to get the game down to one play further from the end zone than we currently were. Damn it.
Now they are in the driver's seat for the west, and our year is likely over. Disappointing. I do feel Milroe looked better at throwing than he has in the past, but I guess it's a lot easier when most of your targets are 10 yards from the nearest defender or something.
(Side note: thanks Dodgers for saving the day from just sadness. Everyone else was so happy when Rangers and Astros updates were announced. I'm glad get some happiness myself, with my team beating my least favorite team :) ) |

That home loss to Texas is really haunting them, especially after we saw problems with the Texas team this week. On top of that, Texas A&M was too close for comfort and showed that while Alabama is still really good, they don't appear to be great. |

There's something missing with them still. They're undoubtedly still very good, but they need to put all the pieces together to avoid taking another loss somewhere down the line. |

It pleases me to say that in no way does this team look like a playoff team. Texas A&M is close every year, but against a backup quarterback, they should have won by more than a score. Alabama has a day of reckoning coming soon, as they can't keep winning games that they look like the worse team in. |

The only reason why Alabama didn't rise higher is because Ole Miss didn't look too impressive in their narrow win over Arkansas and the Tide's loss to Texas looks a little worse. They do rise, however, due to a nice win over TA&M + chaos surrounding them. |
