Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 9, 2023, 2:24 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Georgia Bulldogs Two-time defending champions, haven't lost yet, finally started to look dominant against Kentucky
Michigan Wolverines Very strong team that kept their guys, weak schedule but they've been resting players early, destroyed Minnesota
Oklahoma Sooners Best win of anybody
Ohio State Buckeyes Good wins over Notre Dame/Maryland, starting to shake off rust, look scary
Washington Huskies Offense firing on seventeen hundred cylinders
Florida State Seminoles Good wins but that close game against Boston College raises a LOT of questions
Oregon Ducks Very similar to Washington but a weaker schedule
Penn State Nittany Lions Had some struggles against weaker teams but haven't lost yet, look strong but a tier below 1-7
Texas Longhorns Very, very strong team but can't rank higher being 5-1. Had some struggles early vs. Rice/Wyoming but has the second best win of any team and a #QualityLoss
Alabama Crimson Tide Hard to put a Saban-coached team too low. Loss to Texas but win over Ole Miss. Early season rust looks gone
Louisville Cardinals Looked dominant against Notre Dame in the trenches
Ole Miss Rebels
USC Trojans Fantastic offense but atrocious defense, can't rank higher with the teams they've scraped past
Oregon State Beavers Felt the strongest of the four Pac-12 teams in the "circle of suck" with a very high powered offense
North Carolina Tar Heels Weak schedule but have looked solid and have Tez Walker to rally around
UCLA Bruins
Washington State Cougars
Duke Blue Devils
Utah Utes Felt the weakest of the four Pac-12 teams in the "circle of suck" with a very strong defense but little offense to speak of
Kansas Jayhawks
Tennessee Volunteers
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Kentucky Wildcats
Wyoming Cowboys Good G5 wins and one loss to Texas, look very strong
Air Force Falcons
