texas2089	4	The Tide may have found their next starting QB. Jalen Milroe got the start and a bulk of the reps as Alabama rolled noted Miami killer MTSU. Milroe certainly has some things to work on, but after accounting for 5 total TDs he may have put the QB competition to bed, for now at least. A showdown with the Longhorns looms large next week.

kamiller2020	5	That performance is what you think of when you think of Saban Alabama. 200+ yards passing and rushing, is it 2015 again? If it is I don't see how Alabama doesn't go and dominate to a national title. But this roster isn't 2016 Bama's roster, at least not yet. Jalen Milroe had a good game, and if he plays as calmly as he did on Saturday that would be a massive improvement over last year. We had an Isiah Bond sighting! Wide receivers making plays that they weren't making last year is exactly what Tide fans asked for. The offensive line looked improved, that's a positive sign. The defensive backs looked improved, that's a positive sign. It was against Middle Tennessee State though. Texas is going to be a massive test, and I can not wait for that game.

The Tide have another stud QB at their disposal (stunner), with Jalen Milroe leading the team in rushing and passing, combining for just under 250 yards of total offense and 5 TDs. New DC Kevin Steele also has a plethora of new toys to play with, as the defense looks just as imposing as ever. Joyless murderball is back on the schedule. Oh yeah, joyless murderball was said about 600 times on the broadcast. Lets not have that be a thing again, okay? The reasoning: I have the Tide staying put at 4. FSU jumps them after a dominant win over LSU, and Ohio State falls below them for reasons I will discuss later. I think 4 is a fair spot, and given that they'll play several of the also ranked teams on this list, everything will work itself out. Next up: Big bad #12 Texas (1-0) comes to town in a huge matchup of conference favorites. We'll see if the Tide can keep the joyless murderball going against a much more evenly matched team.
