A lot of people were calling the Georgia-Ohio State game the "true National Championship" as it was playing at, and those people turned out to be right. |

Played like the 2nd best team in the playoff but fell short due to the midnight miss. Unfortunate but it’s just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. Head 2 head keeps them at 4 and honestly despite playing their A+ game the fact that UGA played a C game at best and still beat them shows how good UGA was this year. |

Very impressed with Day and Stroud's performances against Georgia, despite coming up just short. Losing Marvin Harrison Jr. late was too big of a loss after being down most of the other first string skill players, otherwise we probably see OSU lifting the trophy tonight. Next year, the schedule is brutal (@ND, @Wisconsin, @Michigan, PSU), but they will contend if they fix issues on defense and have a decent showing at QB. They return every major contributor among the skill position players, which will help generate a smooth transition to the next QB. |

2022 Ohio State was the bridesmaid and never the bride. The thought of "what if Marvin Harrison Jr. didn't get hurt?" will permeate in Columbus for a long time. |

I think Ohio State would have beaten TCU, but due to heads up results Ohio State is #4 |

While the argument, if solely in a vacuum and totally ignoring the regular season, is valid that as Ohio St nearly beat Georgia and TCU was demolished in the NCG, we do not ignore the regular season and only look at the 10 days from 11/31/22 to the NCG. They still lost their playoff game, and also lost at home. Against Michigan. 45-23. I saw the Georgia game moreso as CJ Cloud going off on a Georgia team that may have been looking to far ahead after TCU beat Michigan. |

Surprisingly bumped down by the impressiveness of Tulane. They played spectacularly against Georgia and looked like the #2 team in the nation for a second. A brief second. Still their lackluster performances earlier in the season are more intriguing to the model's eye and so Ohio State stays here forever bounded in the season by Michigan and rolled over by a Green Wave.
Losses: #1 Georgia (National and SEC champ), #3 Michigan (B1G Champ)
Notable Wins: #6 Penn State, (#28) Notre Dame. |
