bretticus33 | 10 | All offseason I’d been saying I don’t trust this Alabama team. I know Nick Saban is still HC, but the QB situation isn’t good, the skill positions aren’t great, and the defense struggled against a good offense. There’s real reason to believe Alabama could be a 3 loss team this season. |

texas2089 | 10 | The Tide never really seemed to get in rhythm in a 34-24 defeat to the Longhorns. After some uncertainty coming into the season about who the starting QB would be, Alabama rode Jalen Milroe the entire game. It's unknown whether Alabama plans on making a change at QB, but you can bet there will be discussions. Milroe has flashes of what he can be but is still raw. His legs give the Tide an added element so we'll see if any changes are made next week as Alabama travels to Tampa to play USF (yes, ALABAMA is playing ON THE ROAD against a G5 team) before SEC play opens in 2 weeks against Ole Miss. |

noahthearc | 11 | The Tide have all the makings of a title contender, except a reliable QB and O-Line. The SEC West hasn't played convincingly so far, but the Tide don't look ready to win the conference, which will be necessary to make the playoffs. |

Due_Connection179 | 12 | Last Week #5 vs #12 Texas : Lost 24 - 34. Like I said earlier, score is a little closer than how they played. Texas was easily the better team this game, which should be concerning for Alabama going forward. Next Week *at* USF (Prediction : Might struggle with mobile QB at first then cruise control) |

PrimalCookie | 19 | Something something SEC bias. They're 1-1, lost a home OOC game for the first time since 2007, and don't look incredible in general... but they're still Alabama. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt for the time being. Saban is still the GOAT, I'm sure he can pull something out. |

It's a steep drop, but if Saban is still Saban, they should be back in the Top 10 before long ('should' being the operative word). |
