Much like Oregon, their win isn't as impressive as the score would make it seem, but 73-0 is still 73-0. An excellent sign for Oklahoma fans after a rough 2022. |

The Sooners demolished Arkansas State 73-0. Dillon Gabriel barely broke a sweat and as a team, OU went 30/33 passing for 422 yards and 3 TDs. Tack on another SIX rushing TDs, and yeah you can see where this is going. |

Oklahoma looked more like the Sooners of old with a 73-0 beatdown of Arkansas State. It was really encouraging to see the offense look competent, and even more encouraging that the defense was impenetrable. Venables needs a turnaround season to keep his job, so this was a good start. |

Up from unranked. Ark State isn't amazing but that was an impressive showing regardless. |

Beating up on FCS teams does not impress me, but they jump a number of teams ahead of them because I think they proved some doubters (me) wrong about their efficiency. |
