Utah has no excuse to lose a single game this season until they make their playoff debut. Where they will lose in the first round to an Ohio State team that won't be beaten all year, but make it look close enough to give them the #3 spot. |

Great season and a good chunk return; unlucky (3 single-possession losses); long-term coaching staff; good recruiting. Utah is far from perfect but there are fewer questions about them than most every team below. |

Utah brings back the power duo of QB Cam Rising and RB Tavion Thomas, but will have work to do to replace over half the defense. How will Utah handle being favorites rather than underdogs for once? |

Kyle Whittingham will deserve a statue in-front of Rice-Eccles when he finally retires. How many coaches follow up the man that coached arguable the best BCS busting team of all time with making his team possibly the most under-rated consistent winner since Wisconsin under Bielema? |

How can you not root for this team? They bring a ton of key pieces back. If they can play their physical style of ball and beat Florida, we'll probably know everything we need to know about them-- and see them in Vegas. |

Similar to Baylor, they lose a few key players but return most of a nearly CFP level team. The success of the team will rest primarily in the hands of their QB as he seeks to lead the Utes to the promised land. |

Middling in terms of returning production (#58), but strong season last year headlined by giving Ohio State all they could handle. |

I've moved them up slowly throughout the offseason, and a lot of that has to do with watching Cam Rising games from last season. Rising should help field a capable offense, and there are some real playmakers on defense. Excited to see if they can live up to the hype. |

They’re my favorites for the Pac 12 this year. They will inexplicably drop a couple games at 1AM along the way, but I see them in Pasadena. If they keep their nose clean through the Pac 12 meat grinder, maybe even Glendale. |

120.6 points -> NY6 Favorite. The top team and only ranked team in the PAC, the Utes bring back a good team with solid additions. Big test in week one to prove their merits. |
